How does the Grow a Garden Calculator work?
It applies the exact in-game formula: Value = Base Value × (Weight ÷ Base Weight)² × Growth × (1 + Σ Mutations − N) × Friend Bonus. You pick a crop, enter its weight, choose a growth tier and any mutations, and the calculator instantly returns the exact Sheckle sell price.
Why is weight squared in the value formula?
Weight is the single most powerful variable. Because the (Weight ÷ Base Weight) ratio is squared, doubling a crop's weight quadruples its value, tripling it makes it 9×, and 5× weight makes it 25× before mutations are even applied. Always prioritize heavy harvests.
How do environmental mutations stack?
Environmental (silver/gold/rainbow are separate 'growth' mutations) stack additively using 1 + sum(multipliers) − count. For example, Shocked (×100) + Celestial (×120) becomes 1 + 100 + 120 − 2 = 219× for that bracket.
What is the best pet in Grow a Garden?
