Understanding crop values in Grow a Garden

Every crop has a fixed base value and base weight. The amount of Sheckles you actually earn depends on how much your harvested crop weighs relative to that base weight — and because weight is squared in the value formula, a heavier version of the same crop is worth exponentially more. Prismatic and Divine crops such as Sunflower, Mushroom, Beanstalk and Ember Lily have the highest base values, but a well-mutated Legendary can easily out-earn them.

Multi-harvest crops keep producing fruit after they mature, making them far more Sheckle-efficient over time than single-harvest crops. Combine a high base value, multi-harvest crop with a Master Sprinkler and a mutation-generating pet for the best long-term returns.

Grow a Garden crops FAQ

Which crop has the highest base value in Grow a Garden?

Divine and Prismatic crops like Sunflower, Mushroom, Beanstalk and Ember Lily carry the highest base values. However, a heavily-mutated, high-weight Legendary crop can out-earn a plain Divine one because weight is squared in the value formula.

What is the difference between single-harvest and multi-harvest crops?

Single-harvest crops are picked once and must be replanted, while multi-harvest crops keep producing fruit after they mature. Multi-harvest crops amortize their seed cost across many harvests, making them far more Sheckle-efficient over time.

How is a crop's sell value calculated?

Each crop's value is Base Value × (Weight ÷ Base Weight)² × Growth × (1 + Σ Mutations − N) × Friend Bonus. Click any crop to open its dedicated page and a pre-filled calculator with Gold, Rainbow and mutation prices.
